“Downtown Gig Harbor in 1996”

8-ft charcoal painting currently hangs in Bella Femmina Restaurant in downtown Gig Harbor.

The blinking red light that hangs from an old utility pole contributes to the modest character and casual pace of Gig Harbor's historic downtown.  That authenticity is what makes the area so special.

“Strout Feed Store”  “Beryl E”  “Galloping Gertie Opens”

My Uncle built the last cabin just beyond the Nesika Beach Community of Gig Harbor in the 50s.  My aunt, Lita, is barely visible in the window.
